The Book of Oz: Chapter 1, 2, 3. – “During the four day period of January 5, 6, 7, & 8th, Year 71 of the Aeon of Horus, the scribe 777 received through direct invocation a five-part treatise entitled “The Book of Codes-Liber 718”, the revealed comment to Aleister Crowley’s “The Book of the Law” […] (part of the Introduction). – “The Scribe 777 is often identified as an ex-Kenneth Grant initiate named Peter Macfarlane, but we are reliably informed that it was actually one James Beck, also known as Jimmy Rocket” (Weiser Antiquarian). – This Edition consists of 93 Copies on handmade paper numbered from 1 to 93, and 625 copies on Carlyle Japan paper, numbered from 94 to 718. This Copy is number 393 (hand numbered in red). – Copy slightly rubbed and bumped. Enclosed the publisher’s advertisement for the book (an extended introduction), this without jacket and with annotations by the previous owner Walter Jantschik.
